Bad Alpha Dads - Scoundrel

I expected my downfall to be a wolf shifter. I didn’t expect her to be a kid.

The Silent Butchers are trying to go straight. At least my chapter is. Still, life in the MC means trouble. It’s unpredictable and full of surprises, but none compare to my newest challenge.

A little girl was dropped on my doorstep. I’m told she’s mine--but I don’t know the first thing about being a father.

My only hope is enlisting the help of Paige--a woman who understands her, a woman who knows how to deal with her.

There’s no question Paige is my mate, or that she hates me. But before I can convince her that she’s meant to be mine, I’ll have to prove I’m not the man she thinks I am.

If I don't hurry, I'll lose them both.

Cover Reveal--Warrior

Merry belated Christmas!

I have a new book to announce. Warrior is coming to the Protectors of the Pack series, and will be a standalone that follows after the events of Heir. Way back when I first wrote the Protectors of the Pack trilogy, I shared a newsletter exclusive short of Dax and Cora that suggested the two bodyguards would find love. But a suggestion was all the story was for what, two years?

Now Dax and Cora have a full story, one with a book club filled with sassy grandmas. One where it's the hero who reads romance books, and it's the heroine who is reluctant to accept fate. Warrior is a story of making a new life in a new city, but finding love in the familiar. It's also a story of action and passion and laughs, because that's how I like to write them.

Warrior is coming to Amazon January 10!

New Release Day x 2!

Twice the excitement, twice the deals. It's release day for not just one, but two new books! Well, a new box set, and a new book. Either way, it's big.

First, I'd like to share the long-awaited Protectors of the Pack Box Set.
Picture
There's a set of twin wolf shifters, a case of mistaken identity, a billionaire, three happily ever afters, and the cutest assassin you'll ever meet. This series is spun off of the Sawtooth Peaks trilogy, though it can be read alone. If you have read Sawtooth Peaks, expect some familiar faces.

The other new release I have to share is also spun off of Sawtooth Peaks. To be honest, almost all of my books are linked to that tiny mountain town in one way or another. Revenge is no different. It's Axel's story.

After he leaves Sawtooth Peaks, he searches for peace. It's difficult to move past what happened to him, but he tries. It takes finding someone just like him to change everything--his mate.

It's not just shifters this time, but thrall too. Revenge ties the worlds of Sawtooth Peaks and Scarlet Harbor together, in a standalone story. The best part? It's free for newsletter subscribers. Check it out!

Heir--Just Published

I'm excited to share that Heir is available now on Amazon!

Heir is the third book in the Protectors of the Pack series, and takes place in Greenville City. The focus is on Hunter Briggs and Grace Perry, an accountant at Briggs Unlimited. We finally get to find out who hired the Silent Butchers, but not without a search for information. Grace and Hunter team up to solve the mystery, and find more than they bargained for.

Though this story is the complete romance between Grace and Hunter, I highly recommend you read Bodyguard and Enemies first. The stories are very related.

I’ve also written an exclusive bonus chapter that follows after the conclusion of Heir. Christmas on Glendale Street is a short but fun look at how Hunter’s bodyguard spends his Christmas. Dax is along for Hunter and Grace’s entire story, so I wanted to give him a chapter of his own. To pick up a copy, follow this link and sign up for my newsletter.

Happy reading!

Heir--Coming Soon!

Oh how I love this cover. As the giant graphic suggests, Heir is coming November 22! This is the final novel in the Protectors of the Pack series. If you haven't read Bodyguard and Enemies, be sure to pick up those before reading Heir. The full story of Hunter and Grace's romance is included in Heir, but the plot is linked to those in books one and two. Here's a peek at what's in store:

I'll show you what it means to be mine...
Heir to a multi-billion dollar company. Heir to the alpha of the largest pack in the state. Wolf shifter Hunter Briggs works tirelessly to be worthy of his birthright. When his father falls ill, it's up to Hunter to step up and take his place. But he can't shake the feeling that someone close must be to blame. And his prime suspect, a gorgeous blonde bombshell, just might be the mate he's been searching for.
A big city. A fresh start. Grace Perry wants nothing to do with anything shifter. Most of all she is absolutely, one hundred percent, not looking for a mate. Unfortunately her new boss happens to be a wolf, who is convinced that someone is trying to kill him. When his suspicions become reality, Grace is determined to find out who is responsible. Too bad her boss's way-too-smoking-hot son has the same idea. And she just can't stop running into him.

I enjoyed telling Hunter and Grace's story; their chemistry is as hot as the cover model. And like both the Sawtooth Peaks and Riverwood series, Protectors of the Pack ends with everyone coming together. Up next is my Christmas story. I don't know yet if it will be a novel or novella. It's all plotted and this week I've started the writing. I decided that for Christmas I should write the couple that I get the most requests for--Harkins and Amy. Their story is set after the events of Sawtooth Peaks, though it is set up to be read as a standalone. Stay tuned for updates on my latest projects, including Harkins and Amy's Howl for the Holidays!

Guess what time it is. That's right, time for another free promotion! Grizzly Bait is getting its first free sale starting tomorrow. I always run these promotions worldwide, so even if I don’t list the links for your country, everyone is included. If you have not yet read the Riverwood series, you should know that all three books are about a single couple. The first two end with HFNs, while the last is HEA. Liam's worth three books, trust me!

In other news, I have a paperback coming, and a new release scheduled for later this month. Because October was a bit crazy, Heir is still in editing. We had everything from a hurricane, to my birthday, to my Mom responsibilities involving field trips and costume creation. Heir is the final novel in the Protectors of the Pack series. It's always a mixed bag when I finish a series. It's nice to see everything come together, but it can be hard to say goodbye to the characters I've grown to love over the months of learning their voices and telling their stories. The best part is that goodbyes aren't always forever. It's exciting to start something new, and see familiar faces pop back up again.

After Hunter and Grace's happily ever after, it will finally be Harkins and Amy's turn. I think it's the perfect way to end the stories involving the Sawtooth and Greenville City wolves. At least for now. :D I'm working on plotting and on the cover of this one while wrapping up edits for Heir. I'm hoping to have Harkins's story out for Christmas. Either way, it's coming next. After that I have the next three series swirling around in my head already. Two include characters from Riverwood, and the third is something a little different. I look forward to sharing more with you in the future.

I'm also happy to share that I’ve completed my first paperback! I’m eagerly awaiting the proof copy of Running to the Pack. So long as all looks well, I'll be moving on to Defending the Pack next. I love the idea of actually holding my work in paper instead of just on my flash drive.  I'll share a picture when it arrives and let you know how it turns out. Here's the cover :o

Cover Reveal--Heir

It's that time once again, time for your first look at my newest cover!

Heir is the final chapter of the Protectors of the Pack series. Ever since his first appearance in Bodyguard, I've looked forward to writing a story for Hunter Briggs. He's competent, rich, hot, and kind. His father expects him to inherit the family fortune, company, and status as pack alpha. Hunter wants to be all of those things, without turning into his father. But to be alpha, he needs to take a mate. And it's a good thing that Hunter is up for the challenge, because the best things in life never come easily.

Heir still needs lots of editing, so while you wait for its November release, check out the cover and let me know what you think!

Protectors of the Pack Book 3--Heir

The final book in the Protectors of the Pack series is well underway. We've seen Reynolds and his twin, Witt, find their mates. But what about Reynolds's brother-in-law? Well, now it's finally Hunter's turn.

There's still one question left to be answered. Who hired the Silent Butchers?

Alexander, Hunter's father, has been searching for the one responsible with the help of his accountant, Grace, a she-wolf he knows he can trust.  When Alexander falls ill, Hunter is adamant that it is foul play. Both Grace and Hunter are determined to find the truth. But can they work together? Or will their suspicions cloud their true feelings for each other?

Unlike my other heroes, Hunter Briggs comes from money. His father worked hard his entire life to build a strong, large pack, and a business to match. Because of this, Heir has a bit of a billionaire romance flare, with the same action, suspense, and supernatural elements that make my writing, well, uniquely mine.

Because of the hurricane, work on paperbacks, and the everyday surprises of life, this novel is taking a little longer than usual to complete. I expect Heir to be available in early November. My next post will be the cover reveal, and just as with every new cover, this one's my favorite! :D

Happy reading!

It's time for another free sale!

This time it's Bodyguard, the first book in Protectors of the Pack. If you haven't read Bodyguard yet, you're in for a fun and thrilling ride. Both Reynolds and Alex wanted to be somewhere else, but their meeting turned out better than either expected. It's a novella with action, suspense, steamy romance, and a happily ever after ending.

"This story packs a powerful punch in a short time."- Shifter Haven

Enemies Just Released

9/24/2016

It's release day, and Enemies is now available!

Enemies is the second book in the Protectors of the Pack series, which takes place in the Sawtooth Peaks, Elkston, and Greenville City areas. Protectors of the Pack occurs after the Sawtooth Peaks series, but contains a completely separate story line. The focus of Enemies is on Witt and Zoe's romance, but there are a lot of familiar faces and places. They go to Rosie's Diner and Sawtooth Den. Zoe goes to school at the same college Hailey attended, and works at the coffee shop where Liam picked up a bear claw. Everything is connected, but each series can be read alone.

Enemies is definitely the silliest book I've written so far. I had a lot of fun writing Zoe's internal thoughts, and the chaos that ensues when she's thrown into an unfamiliar situation that she's totally unprepared for. The conflict between the Greenville City pack and the Silent Butchers leads to an irresistible connection between two people that compliment each other more deeply than they're first willing to admit.

Though this story is the complete romance between Zoe and Witt, I highly recommend you read Bodyguard first. Happy reading!
